Lake Nona Adventure Park price levels confusing

TJ’s review: 5 out of 5 stars My review: 3 out of 5 stars
My overall impressions
Lake Nona Adventure Park is a blast for kids, but I hope they make it because parents will not want to pay the high price for admission and gear. I made it to a mommy & me special for one hour on the aqua challenge course that included free admission for me, but I had to pay $49 for my boys. The price includes the gear, which was the required life vest that everyone must wear on the course. The boys kept telling me how much fun they were having, but parents have to be in good shape to climb the obstacles. I actually gave up on some of them and preferred to swim in the lake to skip the harder obstacles.
This was a really fun place with such nice staff. The course had an employee at the top of the highest inflatable climbing wall to help us to the top. It seemed very safe with plenty of staff to ensure a safe experience.
Cost
This place has three main attractions, including the tower ropes course, the aqua park, and the wakeboard cable system. The park had a complicated pricing system with armbands. We got a black armband for one hour of play in the aqua park, but it normally costs $23 for only 50 minutes. If you want unlimited sessions it will cost $39.
The climbing tower ropes course looks pretty challenging with 50-foot climbing walls for $32. There are 36 floating platforms to navigate. There also is a kids rope course that is for 3- to 8-year-olds, which costs $19. However, kids must be accompanied by an adult. There is a tower and aqua full-day pass for $58 that seems to be the way to go if you want to save about $13.
The cable wakeboarding system seems to be the big attraction and the most expensive one. The system can take up to 10 riders at a time. One hour costs $29, two hours is only $34 while an all-day pass costs $49. However, the gear is not included in this price. The gear rentals can range in price from per-piece pricing or packages from a $20 beginner package to a $34 pro package. Tax is not included in the price. The best deal seems to be the full- day park super passes for $85, but this price does not include the gear rentals.
Insider tips
You have to be at least 5 years old to do the attractions. Bring your own lock to put on lockers to hold your stuff if you don’t feel comfortable leaving your stuff on picnic tables or chairs facing the lake. Leave your glasses and shoes at the dock because you may lose them in the water.
